Global Sustainability Lead at Momentum Worldwide

Selina Donald is the current Global Sustainability Director at Momentum Worldwide. Selina has extensive experience working in the events and sustainability industries.

Selina started their career as a Visiting Lecturer at Birmingham City University, where they created the course materials for a brand new module on Corporate Social Responsiblity and Sustainability for third-year Event Management students.

Selina then went on to work as a Specialist Consultant for COP23 with the UNFCCC. In this role, they provided expertise on sustainability issues to help shape the direction of the conference.

After that, Selina worked as an Event and Campaign Consultant for March4Women, a grassroots campaign calling for gender equality. In this role, they planned and executed a series of events across the UK to raise awareness of the issue.

Selina then took on the role of Associate Producer for The Official 48th UAE National Day Opening Show. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating all aspects of the show, from the logistics to the performers.

Finally, Selina worked as a Stakeholder Manager for Belt and Road Relay, a never-before-attempted project consisting of eight athletes participating in a series of athletic events across 44 countries in 90 days across Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Europe. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project, including managing relationships with key stakeholders.

Selina Donald has a degree in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge - Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Selina also has a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School and a degree in Criminal Justice Studies and Criminology from the University of Leeds.
