David Hansen

David Hansen has extensive experience in various roles, serving in risk management with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary since 2002 and previously as a division commander. In their public sector career, Hansen has held positions as a senior internal auditor for the State of Montana since 2008 and as zoning board chairman for the city of Helena from 2004 to 2012. Hansen's professional background also includes serving as CFO at Diamond Construction from 2006 to 2008, an auditor for oil and gas federal royalty with the State of Montana from 2001 to 2006, and a history and government teacher at Butte Montana School District from 1995 to 2001. As an entrepreneur, Hansen owned and operated Hansen Theaters from 1981 to 1995 and worked in studio lighting as a self-employed individual from 1977 to 1981. Hansen holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Montana Technological University and a Bachelor of Arts in History Government Secondary Education from The University of Montana-Western, along with additional education from Montana State University-Bozeman.
