Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Regional Manager to oversee and coordinate the operations of our company's branches within a designated region. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a proven track record of achieving targets, and the ability to drive business growth.

The restaurant regional manager will be responsible for all aspects of operations including, but not limited to: Staffing and training, Financials, Safety and sanitation compliance, policy and procedure compliance, brand presentation and store opening.

Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Leadership and Team Management:
  • Provide effective leadership to the branch managers and teams within the region.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Set clear performance expectations and goals for each branch.
  • Ensure all stores in the region are properly staffed for both hourly and salary positions.
  • Ensure the training expectations and standards set by the company are met and new team members both hourly and salary are set up for success with proper training support.
  1. Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all branches within the region.

  • Implement and monitor operational policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Optimize processes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Perform quarterly evaluations on management team to review performance and set expectations on areas of improvement.

  • Conduct a structured store visit, through effective and strategic weekly planning, keeping the stores focused on top areas of opportunity and making progress in a reasonable time frame.

  • All communication from home office is acknowledged and communicated to the team. All company roll-outs are planned and executed to standard.

  • Manages time appropriately to accomplish all tasks. Works well under pressure, has a good understanding of strategic planning and problem solving.

  1. Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets for each branch, ensuring financial targets are met.

  • Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.

  • Monitor and control expenses within the region.

  • Monitors all repair and maintenance issues within the region and makes business decisions based on the need of the store and business objectives.

  1. Sales and Business Development:
  • Work closely with sales teams to achieve revenue and sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion and growth within the region.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive market share.
  1. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address customer concerns.
  • Implement customer-centric initiatives to enhance loyalty.
  1. Market Analysis and Strategy:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute regional strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate into regional plans.
  1. Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Mitigate risks and implement risk management strategies within the region.
  • Work with HR to address any HR/ER related issues to promote a safe, fair and consistent work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Regional Manager or in a similar leadership role. (3-5 years of multiunit management experience in comparable operations expected)
  • Strong understanding of business operations, finance, and sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Results-driven and goal-oriented.

Physical Demands
