Dean Paes

Dean Paes has a diverse work experience in scientific research and academia. Dean worked as a Scientist at Mosa Meat since May 2021. Prior to that, Dean was a PhD candidate in molecular neurobiology at Universiteit Maastricht from June 2017. At the same university, Dean also served as a Research and Teaching Assistant from November 2016 to May 2017. Before joining Universiteit Maastricht, Dean was a Research Intern at HiQScreen Sàrl from November 2015 to June 2016, where they conducted a functional study on alpha-7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. In 2014, Dean had an internship at Dept. Psychiatry & Neuropsychology, Maastricht University.

Dean Paes completed their education in a chronological order. They first attended Trevianum Scholengroep from 2005 to 2011, where they graduated from Grammar School. They then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Universiteit Maastricht, from 2011 to 2014. Following this, Dean Paes continued their education at Maastricht University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Fundamental Neuroscience, specializing in Research, from 2014 to 2016.
