Lourdes Aviles currently serves as the Associate Provost at Plymouth State University, where responsibilities include directing the Computational, Applied, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences academic unit and holding a faculty position as a Professor of Meteorology. In addition, Lourdes Aviles is the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees at UCAR - The University Corporation for Atmospheric Research since 2019 and a member of the Board of Trustees for the Mount Washington Observatory since July 2022.
