Laura Berkholtz

Laura Berkholtz has over 20 years of work experience. Laura began their career in 1998 as an Environmental Scientist for Richard Meehan Associates in Palo Alto. In 2001, they moved to BT Squared, Inc. as a Hydrogeologist/IT Support. In 2008, they joined Wright Vision Care as an Optometric Technician/IT Support, where they assisted patients with choosing eyeglass frames and interpreting and explaining patient's insurance benefits. In 2018, they moved to Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin as an Optometric Technician. Currently, they work at Moxe as a Staff Software Engineer, Intermediate Software Engineer, and Software Engineer.

Laura Berkholtz has a diverse educational background. Laura obtained a Bachelor's degree in Astronomy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In 2017, they earned an Entry Certificate in Business Analysis from the IIBA. From 2017 to 2019, they attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell and earned a Second Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, as well as a Certificate in Java Development. In 2021, they obtained certifications in Building Resilience, Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making, Developing Your Emotional Intelligence, Effective Listening, Embracing Unexpected Change, Persuading Others, Teamwork Foundations, Why Trust Matters with Rachel Botsman, Writing in Plain Language, and an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer.
