Albert Kamwela

Albert Kamwela boasts extensive experience in laboratory management, currently serving as Laboratory Manager at MSALABS since November 2020, overseeing assay laboratory operations at Barrick Gold Mine. Prior to this role, Albert held the position of Laboratory Manager at Australian Laboratory Services Pty. Ltd. from November 2011 to February 2019, providing support to various departments at First Quantum Mining's Kansanshi Minesite in Zambia. Additionally, Albert worked as Laboratory Technical Manager at SGS MINERALS SERVICES UK LTD from May 2004 to October 2011, where responsibilities included the commissioning and management of process plant laboratories. Education was completed at the University of Dar es Salaam, earning a degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from 2000 to 2004.
