Jean-Marc van Baal

Jean-Marc van Baal is an accomplished IT leader with extensive experience in the banking and financial services sectors. Currently serving as Head of IT Europe and Managing Director at MUFG since February 2020, Jean-Marc previously held the position of Associate Director of Information Technology at MDC Business Management Services, where responsibilities included driving digital strategy. Past roles also include CIO at both GE Artesia Bank and Mubadala GE Capital PJSC, and Director for Banking & Financial Services at Tata Consultancy Services, where Jean-Marc achieved significant growth and developed strategic partnerships. Jean-Marc's career began at ING, where multiple leadership positions involved managing complex IT projects and governance frameworks. Jean-Marc holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a degree in Economics from Tilburg University.
