Tommi Ilmonen

Tommi Ilmonen has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Tommi is currently the Chief Technology Officer at MultiTaction, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Tadadaa Ltd from 2020.

Tommi has a long history with MultiTraction, where they held multiple roles over the years. Tommi was a Co-founder and Board Member from 2007 until 2020, playing a crucial role in securing initial investments and overseeing operations. Tommi also served as the Chief Operating Officer from 2018 to 2019, where they supported and coordinated different teams, with a focus on marketing. From 2007 to 2018, they were the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for all research and development work.

Before their tenure at MultiTraction, Tommi worked as a Researcher at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology in 2007. Prior to that, they held research positions at Aalto University School of Science and Technology, starting as a Research Assistant from 1996 to 1999 and later becoming a Researcher from 1999 to 2006.

Tommi Ilmonen completed their education at Aalto University, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Technical Physics / Information Technology from 1994 to 1999. During this time, they also studied at Sibelius-Akatemia - Sibelius-Akademin, where they pursued a minor subject in Computer music from 1997 to 1999, which was part of their MSc program. Afterward, they continued their studies at Aalto University and earned a Doctor of Technology degree in Computer Science from 1999 to 2006.
