Cheryl Kao

Cheryl Kao has taken up various roles and responsibilities in different industries as a key player in Operations and Project Management. Cheryl worked as an Operations Director at Rolling Greens Nursery and led the creation of a centralized distribution center, which resulted in optimized inventory management and a $17k+ monthly recurring revenue rise. Cheryl has utilized their project management skills to successfully coordinate 10+ projects at goodr, helping optimize their Supply Chain process and achieve seamless data exchange between Netsuite, Shopify, and their OMS. Additionally, they served as a Strategy Project Manager at the Museum of Ice Cream. Cheryl's keen eye for detail, analytical abilities, and communication skills have enabled their to evaluate business proposals, dissect complex contracts in Mandarin and English, secure distributorship agreements with over 10 clients, and generate an additional $1M in revenue through online sales platforms. Cheryl has also worked as a Purchasing & Logistics Manager at Rolling Greens Nursery, where they streamlined the ordering process and coordinated 98% of on-time deliveries while reducing manual labor by 200 hours annually. Lastly, Cheryl started their career as a Purchasing Intern at Rolling Greens Nursery.

Cheryl Kao has a diverse education history. Cheryl attended Taipei European School from 2010 to 2013, where they received their International Baccalaureate Diploma. In 2013, they also earned an Operations Management Certificate from Cornell University. From 2013 to 2014, they attended The New School, where they received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Design and Management. Cheryl went back to school again in 2015 and earned an Associate of Arts in Merchandise Marketing from FIDM. From 2016 to 2017, they continued their education at FIDM and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Cheryl also has several additional certifications, including a Certificate of Completion from Asana in 2022, an International General Certificate of Secondary Education from the University of Cambridge in 2011, and a Certified ScrumMaster® from Scrum Alliance in 2023.
