John George

John George has a diverse work experience that includes roles such as Systems Integration Engineer at MxD, Mechatronics Design Engineer at Gits Manufacturing Company, Embedded Hardware Engineer at Vermeer Corporation, Teaching Assistant and STEM House Leader at Northern Illinois University, Application Engineering Intern and Manufacturing Quality Engineering Intern at BorgWarner Inc., and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Northern Illinois University and Argonne National Laboratory. Their responsibilities have included implementing continuous improvement projects, developing control systems, conducting testing and analysis, designing mechanical and electronic systems, programming motor-actuator systems, maintaining engineering documentation, providing technical and administrative support, teaching laboratory sessions, organizing STEM events, conducting research, designing IC layouts and models, documenting engineering studies, assisting with DFMEA and DVP documents, working on manufacturing quality and testing issues, and conducting research and design on electronic devices and power modules.

John George completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Marmion Academy for their high school education from 2007 to 2011. More recently, John pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Iowa State University, where they studied from 2017 to 2021.
