John Wiacek has had a long and varied career in technology and education. John began their career in 1996 as an Instructor and Unix System Administrator at the Illinois Institute of Technology. In 1998, they moved to Robert Morris University as an Instructor and Technology Coordinator. John then moved to Miami Dade College in 2002, where they served as an Associate Professor. In 2007, they joined ECPI University as Faculty and Curriculum Developer, and was awarded tenure. John also developed accredited curriculum for Game Development, Simulation, Programming, Mechatronic, and Database degrees, and taught courses in Unity 3D, C/C++, 3D graphics with DirectX/openGL, OOP, Python, PHP, MySQL, Oracle, project management, 3D math, digital video, Maya and many more. In 2012, they joined NantWorks as Director of IP Development, where they worked on technology & communications, health & life sciences, and energy & renewables. John also founded Digital Vogue in 1998, a consulting company to help clients with their software and hardware needs.
John Wiacek attended the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1993 to 2000, where they earned a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Programming Engineering and Computer Science.
