Marcus Fisher

Chief Engineer at NASA

Marcus Fisher is the current Chief Engineer at NASA. Marcus has previous experience working at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and Alexandria Labs. Marcus also has experience working as an Adjunct Professor at West Virginia University, where they were responsible for developing programs, establishing laboratories, developing course curriculum, and performing research and development. Marcus is successful in working with local businesses, government agencies, and international partners to establish operational test centers. Marcus has also written a textbook on Verification and Validation that is used throughout industry and government.

Marcus Fisher completed a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife, Fish and Wildlands Science and Management from West Virginia University. Marcus then completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same school. After that, they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering, both from West Virginia University.

They are on a team with Ken Rehm - Associate Director, Ken Vorndran - Deputy Director, and Don Ohi - SMA Support Office. Marcus Fisher reports to Wes Deadrick, Director of IV&V Program.
