Corey D. Hopwood

Corey D. Hopwood has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Corey D. began their career as a Computer Repair Technician and Retail Coordinator at Nashville Computer Liquidators in 1998. Corey D. then moved on to work as an I.T. Support Specialist for the State of Tennessee from 2000 to 2002. Corey then joined Pinnacle Technology USA, Inc. in 2004, where they served as an Ecommerce Manager and I.T. Manager until 2013. Corey D. then worked as a Managed Services Consultant at Whole I.T. Solutions from 2006 to 2016. Corey later joined Wilson & Associates Engineering and Surveying, P.C. as an IT Administrator from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Information Technology at the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp since September 2019, and has been promoted to the role of Senior Vice President of Information Technology in April 2022.

Corey D. Hopwood has a diverse education history that includes both military and civilian education. In 2001, they attended the US Army and pursued a degree in 74B - Information Systems, specializing in Military Information Systems Technology. After completing their military education, Corey went on to attend Western Governors University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Management.
