Sybastian Smith

Sybastian Smith is a dedicated LGBTQ+ advocate with extensive experience in healthcare and community organizing. Currently serving as a National Organizer at the National Center for Transgender Equality since March 2021, Sybastian has played a pivotal role in promoting transgender rights. As an LGBTQ+ Advocate and Resource Coordinator at Black Transmen, Inc. since April 2013, Sybastian has contributed to personal empowerment for Black Transmen through mentoring and community education. Previous roles include serving as a Social Justice Advocate and Medical Assistant at Intown Primary Care, where Sybastian championed equitable healthcare for the LGBTQ+ community, and as a Trans Health Coordinator at the Feminist Women's Health Center, where Sybastian ensured the delivery of sensitive and informed healthcare to transgender patients. Sybastian holds an Associate of Science degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Georgia State University.
