Ammar Ismatullah

Ammar Ismatullah is an experienced laboratory operations professional with a strong background in the petroleum industry. Currently serving as a Laboratory Operations Manager at NESR since June 2018, Ammar oversees daily laboratory operations while ensuring compliance with QHSE and API standards, mentoring junior technicians, and managing equipment calibration. Previously, Ammar held positions as a Laboratory Engineer at National Petroleum Services and a Cementing Lab Technician at Halliburton, where responsibilities included conducting laboratory tests for cementing operations. Earlier experience as a Business Development Officer at SBT Japan involved coordinating with international clients on vehicle import/export policies, and a role as a Geologist and Field Supervisor at SGS focused on quality control of mineral ores. Ammar holds an M.Sc. in Geology from the University of Karachi.
