John MacKethan is the current Director of Print Operations for National Geographic Media Group. Prior to this, they served as VP & General Manager for Magazines at National Geographic Partners, where they were responsible for all short and long term marketing and distribution decisions for the company's five magazines. John also successfully launched National Geographic John'story magazine. MacKethan has been with National Geographic in various capacities since 2003, including Vice President of Financial Planning & Retail Sales and Director of Newsstand, Special Issues and Financial Planning.
John MacKethan has a MBA from Georgetown University and a BA in Government and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
