Cierra C. is a Social Science Program Specialist at the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture since September 2022, specializing in youth, family, and community initiatives. Previously, Cierra served as the Acting Executive Secretary to NIFA Director, Dr. Manjit K. Misra, while also holding the position of Director of Programs at Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation from December 2020 to June 2022. Other roles include Program Coordinator at J2 Strategic Solutions, Grant Project Specialist at The Epstein School, and GIS/Cartographic Specialist with the U.S. Forest Service, where Cierra contributed significantly to editorial cartographic projects and stakeholder engagement. Cierra’s expertise extends to internships with Apple and various positions involving geospatial research and technical services, complemented by a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Florida State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and Geography from Florida International University. Additionally, Cierra holds an Associate degree in Marketing Management from Broward College.
