Rumana Ferdous Munne

Rumana Ferdous Munne, Ph.D., is a seasoned researcher currently affiliated with RIKEN since September 2023 and the National Institute of Informatics since October 2016, specializing in Knowledge Graphs. With prior experience at Samsung Electronics from December 2011 to August 2016, Munne held roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer within the System Radio Interface Layer team, focusing on network operator solutions for Samsung Android smartphones in the Middle East and Africa. Responsibilities encompassed system requirement analysis, code development, integration, testing, debugging, and product documentation. Munne earned a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and NLP from the National Institute of Informatics and holds multiple advanced degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Dhaka and The Graduate University for Advanced Studies.
