Himanshu Lalvani PhD CEng MIMMM is an accomplished materials engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Materials Engineer at Safran since August 2022, Himanshu focuses on metallurgy, technical leadership for research and technology projects, materials lab management, and compliance with industry standards. Concurrently, Himanshu is a Senior R&D Engineer at the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland, emphasizing additive manufacturing and project collaboration with industry partners. Previous experience includes a Senior Technology Officer role at the Advanced Forming Research Centre, where Himanshu led innovation and research collaborations, and various leadership positions in materials engineering and characterization.
