William Barr

William Barr has a diverse work experience in various leadership and management roles. William started their career as a Canvassing Recruiter in the United States Marine Corps from 1993 to 1996. William then moved on to become a Recruiting Office Manager, where they led and trained a team of recruiters. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as an Enlistment Contract Liaison, ensuring the accuracy of enlistment contracts. Barr also served as an Operations Manager and Manager Talent Acquisition within the Marines, overseeing daily operations and leading recruitment efforts. William later became the Western Recruiting Region Operations Manager, responsible for managing a large team of recruiters and shaping operations activities. In 2009, Barr transitioned to the role of Marine Corps Recruiting Command National Operations Manager, advising executives on operational matters and developing long-term success strategies. William then joined the National Marine Corps Business Network as the Deputy Director of Operations in the Financial Services Industry in 2020. Currently, Barr works as a District Advisor at First Command Financial Services, Inc., where they oversee operations and plays a crucial role in ensuring a high-quality client experience.

William Barr earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing from the University of Phoenix in 2007. William then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing and IT Management from Capella University, which they completed in 2011. In 2013, Barr furthered their education at Capella University and obtained a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with a focus on HR Management. William continued their studies at Capella University and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Management in 2018. In addition to their academic achievements, Barr has obtained several certifications, including the General Securities Principal (Series 24) from Finra in 2021, the Investment Advisor Representative (Series 66) from NASAA in 2020, the General Securities Representative (Series 7) from FINRA in 2020, and the Resident Insurance Producer certification from the California Department of Insurance in 2020.
