Kathryn L.

Kathryn L. is an experienced educational professional currently serving as a Technical Editor and Knowledge Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology since August 2023. Kathryn has been a Teacher Consultant with the National Writing Project since 2009, providing numerous in-service presentations for educators and editing the publication "The Writing Marathon: In Good Company Revealed." Kathryn previously worked as an Inclusion Teacher at Livingston Parish Public Schools and spent over a decade at Northwestern Oklahoma State University as a Professor of English and Department Chairperson, where significant contributions included leading international study abroad trips and innovating eLearning courses. Kathryn has also held positions at Palgrave Macmillan as a Book Collection Editor and Pearson as a Content Creator, along with several teaching roles across different educational institutions. Academically, Kathryn holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an MA in Creative Writing from the same institution, along with a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Southeastern Louisiana University.
