Elise Andersson is an experienced Möbelkonservator at Nationalmuseum, Sweden, since September 2021. Prior roles include Conservator of Art & Cultural Heritage at Atelier Andersson, Junior Furniture Conservator at Rijksmuseum, and Furniture Conservator at Museum Zaanse Tijd, where Elise specialized in the conservation of Dutch longcase clocks. Elise has also participated in a workshop on the conservation of Japanese lacquerware at the Tokyo National Research Institute for Cultural Properties. Educational qualifications include a Professional Doctorate and a Master of Arts in Conservation & Restoration of Cultural Heritage from the University of Amsterdam, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Furniture Conservation from Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies. Additional internships in furniture conservation have taken place at prestigious institutions such as the Victoria and Albert Museum and Musée des Arts Décoratifs.
