Stuart exemplifies the power that is unleashed when an executive leader is both an expert physician and a proven executive business leader. An Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Stuart’s expertise is leveraged by hospitals, health systems, and health plans across the country to develop and deploy strategies to transform healthcare delivery.

At Navvis, Stuart provides leadership across client services, operations, and technology teams. He works directly with clients’ executive and medical leaders to build strong leadership and governance ensuring effective organizational transformation towards real-person care.

With more than 30 years of experience both practicing medicine and serving in executive-level leadership roles, Stuart’s perspective as a physician, business leader, and change management expert provides Navvis clients with clear guidance on the optimal strategies that drive measurable value.

Prior to joining Navvis, Stuart was EVP and COO at VHA Inc. (now Vizient) and served as Chief Medical Officer for Sentara Healthcare (Norfolk, VA). He also practiced internal medicine and rheumatology for over 20 years and was Clinical Professor of Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Stuart has served on 18 boards of directors in the healthcare sector.
