Alejandro Villalobos

Alejandro Villalobos has a diverse work experience in finance, business development, and investment. Alejandro is currently serving as the VP of Finance & Partnerships at Nelo, where they oversee finance, capital markets, partnerships, business development, legal, and compliance. Prior to this, they pursued a Business Administration program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2019 to 2021. Alejandro also gained experience as a Venture Capital Intern at Quest Venture Partners in 2020. Before that, they worked at BBVA as a Vice President from 2016 to 2019 and at Alsis Funds as a Private Equity Vice President in 2016. Alejandro's earlier experience includes roles at Scotiabank in Corporate & Investment Banking from 2013 to 2016 and at BBVA in Private Equity as an Associate and Analyst from 2008 to 2013. Alejandro began their career in Corporate & Investment Banking at HSBC in 2007.

Alejandro Villalobos has a B.A. in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they graduated with honors as Magna Cum Laude. Alejandro also holds a Master of Science in Management degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Additionally, they are a candidate for certification from the CFA Institute.
