Mary D. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2021. In 2007, they began their career as an Equipment Specialist at Five Rivers MetroParks. Mary then worked as an Intern at NCCJ - The National Conference for Community & Justice in 2010. From 2011 to 2014, they held two roles at Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley, Annual Fund Manager and Volunteer Program Assistant. During this same time period, they also held a Training Consultant role at Muse Machine and a Development Manager role at Five Rivers MetroParks. In 2015, Mary D. began working at NeonCRM as an Implementation Consultant and Senior Professional Services Consultant. Mary also held a Senior Executive and Development Assistant role at Chicago Commons. In 2021, Mary D. became a Neon Giving Days Project Manager at Neon One.

Mary D. attended The Fund Raising School from 2012-2013, where they studied Developing Annual Sustainability; Principles & Techniques of Fundraising. Mary then attended Wright State University from 2008-2010, where they obtained an Urban Affairs degree with a focus on Nonprofit Management and Community Development. Mary D. also holds a Certified Nonprofit Profession (CNP) National Credential from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
