Björn Ole Mußmann

Björn Ole Mußmann is a Research Software Engineer at the Netherlands eScience Center since February 2022. Previously, Mußmann served as a Senior IT Researcher and ICT Adviseur at Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek from March 2016 to January 2022. Between September 2015 and September 2016, Mußmann was self-employed, focusing on writing a PhD thesis and game development. Mußmann earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Utrecht University (2010-2016) and a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Konstanz (2002-2010), following an academic foundation with an Abitur in Physics from Ricarda Huch Schule, Kiel (1992-2001). As a PhD student at Universiteit Utrecht, Mußmann built a laboratory, conducted independent research, supervised Bachelor's and Master's students, and taught Master's level courses.
