Mordechai Americus

Mordechai Americus has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Mordechai currently serves as a System and IP Engineer at NeuroBlade since April 2021. Prior to that, Mordechai was the Owner and Master Instructor at Martial Arts Academy Israel since August 2007, where they specialized in traditional martial arts, self-defense, and street safety. Mordechai also worked as an Instructor at Kang's Black Belt Academy starting from March 1980.

Mordechai also has extensive experience in the field of engineering and technology. Mordechai was a Senior Patent Associate at Dr. Mark Friedman Ltd. from an unknown start date till June 2021. Before that, they worked at the United States Department of Defense in various roles, including Senior Systems Engineer, Assistant Program Manager, Assistant Liaison, Systems Engineer, Technical Leader, and Engineer.

Throughout their career, Mordechai has demonstrated skills in gathering requirements, designing system solutions, project planning and development, and providing solutions to technology gaps. Mordechai has also shown leadership capabilities by leading project teams, mentoring new engineers, and managing schedules and purchasing.

Mordechai Americus has a diverse education history that spans both their academic degrees and additional certifications. Mordechai began their educational journey at Taylor Allderdice High School from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following this, from 1987 to 1991, they attended Carnegie Mellon University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Later, from 1998 to 2000, Mordechai pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at The Johns Hopkins University.

In addition to their formal education, Mordechai also obtained two certifications. In 1990, they became an Engineer In Training, certified by the Pennsylvania Board of Engineers. Most recently, in August 2019, Mordechai obtained a certification in Martial Arts Therapy from Kids Kicking Cancer.

Overall, Mordechai Americus has a strong academic background in electrical engineering and computer science, complemented by additional certifications in engineering and martial arts therapy.
