Gene Moundous

Gene Moundous currently serves as Project Lead at VeraSci since February 2013 and has held the position of Lab Technician at Alera Labs, LLC since August 2011. At Alera Labs, responsibilities include the preparation of solutions and samples, sample analysis using HPLC/UV/MS, GC/MS, and UV-Vis spectrometry, data processing and reporting, as well as calibration and maintenance of lab instrumentation. Gene is also involved in writing laboratory SOPs, managing chemical inventory and MSDS library, overseeing the sampling process, and ensuring laboratory safety and waste disposal. Previously, Gene worked as a Training Development Supervisor for the US Navy from October 2004 to October 2009. Gene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from North Carolina State University.
