Jodie Wilkerson

Jodie Wilkerson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jodie currently serves as the Assistant Director of Communications at Nevada HAND, Inc, where they lead all internal and external communications strategies. Prior to this, they worked as a Human Resources Specialist at The WNET Group.

Before that, Jodie held a long-term role at The Town School, where they served as the Director of Communications. In this position, they partnered with various departments to create strategic and engaging communications for internal and external audiences. Jodie also played a key role in redesigning and producing virtual community events during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jodie's earlier experiences include serving as the Director of Institutional Giving at the School of American Ballet and as an Assistant to the Associate Dean and Director of Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. In these roles, they gained valuable skills in grant writing, database management, executive support, and event coordination.

Jodie Wilkerson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Music from the University of Puget Sound, where they attended from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master of Music degree in Music Performance at The University of New Mexico from 1998 to 2000.
