Christine Derenick-Lopez

Christine Derenick-Lopez is an experienced human resources professional with a comprehensive background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources at NewAmsterdam Pharma since February 2024, Christine previously held the position of US & Commercial HRBP Lead at Ascendis Pharma and Director of People Experience at Pfizer, where significant contributions included overseeing the acquisition of Biohaven Pharmaceuticals. Prior roles include Sr. Director of Employee Engagement at Biohaven Pharmaceuticals and various leadership positions within the City of Philadelphia. Christine also served as a Senior HR Business Partner at AstraZeneca and was a prominent figure in the SHRM - Philadelphia Chapter, where Christine was Past President. Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.
