Asad Anwer

Asad Anwer is a Technical Consultant at New Horizon since July 2023, specializing in the deployment of FortiGate 401F gateway firewalls and configuration of NAT and Security Policies. Prior experience includes serving as a Network Engineer at CYBERNET from January to July 2023, where responsibilities involved troubleshooting and configuring Layer 2 switches, VLANs, DHCP, and routing protocols within the National Broadband Network operation center. Asad also worked as a Network and Security Associate Engineer, managing and monitoring network and IP infrastructure. An initial internship at the National Telecommunication Corporation was completed in early 2022. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, completed in December 2022, and a CCNA Certification in Computer Networking from Network Edge Academy & Consultants.
