Dan Kearney is an experienced educator currently serving as a History Teacher and Department Chair at New Roads School since July 2022, where Dan also hosts and produces the podcast "Village Voices." Prior to this, Dan held several positions including Intersession Coordinator and Mock Trial Advisor at St. Mary's, where Dan facilitated experiential learning and guided middle school students in developing essential skills. Dan has taught various levels of history, from IB MYP Individuals and Societies to IGCSE and IB Diploma programs at different institutions, and has coaching experience in cross country and track. Earlier professional experiences include serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer and working as a Freelance Writer and Naval Officer. Dan Kearney holds two Master's degrees in Education and History, as well as a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Rhode Island and College of the Holy Cross, respectively.
