Camad Hembree

Camad Hembree currently serves as a 6th grade guidance counselor at New World Preparatory Charter School since March 2023. Prior to this role, Camad worked at Achievement First for nearly nine years as a Behavior Specialist, where responsibilities included managing a school-wide referral room, assisting teachers with students facing emotional challenges, and encouraging self-reflection among students. Additionally, Camad held the position of Assistant Dean Of Students at Brooklyn Laboratory Charter School from August 2018 to September 2022, focusing on fostering a supportive school culture and climate. Camad holds two Bachelor's degrees in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication from Howard University, earned between 1998 and 2002.
