Jennie Pitt MCIPD has a comprehensive work experience in various HR managerial and project roles. Jennie started their career in 2001 at the North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service, where they held different HR managerial and project roles until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Virgin Trains East Coast as a People Business Partner, providing strategic HR advice and guidance to support the business objectives. Jennie then joined London North Eastern Railway as an Inclusion & Engagement Lead from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they moved to EQUANS UK & Ireland as the Head of Diversity & Inclusion & Employee Experience until September 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Diversity, Equality & Inclusion at Newcastle Building Society.
Jennie Pitt MCIPD obtained their Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Leeds Beckett University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from Swansea University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.
In addition to their formal education, Jennie has also obtained certifications in Employee Experience from LinkedIn in February 2020, and in Strategic Human Resources from LinkedIn in January 2018.
