John D. Busi

John Busi, MAI, FRICS, joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2016 as president of NKF Valuation & Advisory. As one of the most respected global figures in property valuation, Mr. Busi has led NKF’s explosive growth in its valuation and advisory practice both through acquisitions and recruiting top talent. Mr. Busi also sits on the Knight Frank Global Valuation Management Board and is a member of the Newmark Knight Frank Leadership Committee.

Mr. Busi joined Newmark Knight Frank after 35 years at Cushman & Wakefield, where he held the position of president and global lead of the valuation and advisory division. He was also a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s global operating committee.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Busi has distinguished himself as one of the foremost innovators in the valuation business. The NKF V&A platform leverages real-time analytics with a focus on aligning next-generation technologies with best-in-class valuation professionals.

Mr. Busi’s appraisal and consulting assignments have included world-renowned trophy office buildings and market-dominant fortress shopping malls; major development sites and assemblages; special use industrial properties; transferable air rights; and institutional investment properties throughout the United States.
