Helen Starrs

Helen Starrs is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Senior Morning Producer at NEWS CENTER Maine since July 2021, where responsibilities include producing the 6am hour of the Morning Report and overseeing stories from Maine and New Hampshire. Prior to this role, Helen worked as a DayBreak Producer at KIMT-TV, managing a 2-hour newscast and developed a strong foundation in sports journalism as Sports Editor for The La Salle Collegian. Additional experience includes producing a weekly newscast for La Salle TV Sportsline, completing internships at Beasley Media Group and Fox Television Stations, and working in various production and editorial roles. Helen holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from La Salle University.
