Juan Ginzo

Juan Ginzo has a diverse background in data science and machine learning. Juan most recently served as Principal Data Scientist at News UK, where they acted as a trusted technical advisor to senior leadership and collaborated with newsrooms on AI and data science projects. Prior to that, they held positions at EDF as a Tech Lead in Data Science and at Boehringer Ingelheim as a Data Science Lead in NLP. Juan also has experience in managerial roles, including Data Science Manager at Lloyds Banking Group and Senior Data Scientist at Tesco. In addition, they have served as a Lead Instructor of Data Science at General Assembly and worked as a Data Scientist at Tempus Energy and Depop. Throughout their career, Juan has demonstrated expertise in forecasting, optimization, and machine learning algorithms.

Juan Ginzo ⚡️ has a diverse education history in various fields. Juan started their academic journey in 2008 at Universidad del CEMA, where they earned an Associate's degree in Computer Science in 2010. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at the same institution and obtained a Licentiate degree in Economics in 2012.

In 2014, Juan enrolled at Birkbeck, University of London, and completed a Master's Degree in Data Analytics in 2017. Juan then attended the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, in the same year to participate in the Oxford Fintech Programme.

Beyond their formal education, Juan has also obtained several certifications. Juan achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2022. In May 2020, they earned a Data Engineering with Google Cloud specialization from Coursera. Prior to that, in April 2020, they completed the Deep Learning specialization, also offered by Coursera.
