Sean Chan

Sean Chan has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Sean is currently working as a Software Engineering Lead at Nextdoor since May 2023. Before that, they worked at Tally as a Senior Engineering Manager, Growth from March 2022 to February 2023. Prior to Tally, Sean worked at Twitter for several roles, including Software Engineering Manager from September 2017 to August 2021 and Tech Lead Software Engineer from April 2016 to September 2017. Sean also worked at Peer - Feedback at work (acquired by Twitter) as a Tech Lead from May 2015 to April 2016. Before that, Sean worked at Clinkle as an Android Engineer from August 2013 to May 2015. Sean started their career at Okta, Inc. as a Full Stack Software Engineer from June 2012 to August 2013. Prior to that, they worked at Qualcomm as a Software Engineer from August 2010 to May 2012. Sean also gained valuable experience during their internships at Intuit and Motorola in 2009 and 2008, respectively. Sean also worked as a Tutor CSE 15L at the University of California at San Diego in 2007.

Sean Chan attended UC San Diego from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
