Sebastian Carrero

Sebastian Carrero is a Quality Engineer at NextPhase Medical Devices since September 2022, where analysis of data is conducted to identify patterns related to device or product issues, along with reviewing customer complaints and internal audits to determine root causes of quality problems. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Design Team Member at Rutgers University's Biomedical Engineering Department from September 2021 to May 2022, where a cost-efficient microfluidic cell characterizer utilizing resistive pulse sensing was developed. Additionally, Sebastian worked as a Crew Member at Trader Joe's from July 2017 to May 2022, maintaining workflow through cross-training, and as a Prosthetic Intern at Sunshine Prosthetics and Orthotics during the summer of 2021, assisting in the design of prosthetic devices tailored to individual patient requirements. Sebastian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers School of Engineering.
