Director Of Communications And Strategic Partnerships at NFL Players Association

Carl Francis, MBA, has a diverse work experience in various roles related to communications and strategic partnerships. Carl began their career in 1992 with the Washington Redskins as a Communications professional. In 1994, they joined the NFL Players Association as the Director of Communications, a role they held until 2023. In the same organization, they also served as the Director of Communications and Strategic Partnerships. In 2012, they joined Georgetown University as an Adjunct Professor, teaching public relations and media analysis, with a focus on sports. Additionally, Carl Francis has been involved with the Hampton Roads Youth Foundation as a Co-Host for the 757 Roundtable Talk since 2020.

Carl Francis holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Longwood University. Carl also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communications from Virginia Union University. In addition, Carl has certifications from the Center for Creative Leadership and IDEO in Human Centered Design.
