Zsófia Koma

Zsófia Koma has a diverse work experience in the field of research and academia. Zsófia is currently working as a Researcher at NIBIO Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aarhus University from September 2021 to March 2023. Zsófia completed their PhD at the University of Amsterdam from June 2017 to August 2021. Zsófia also gained experience as a Visiting PhD Student at the University of Heidelberg from October 2016 to January 2017 and at the Austrian Academy of Sciences from March 2016 to June 2016 with an OeAD scholarship. Zsófia has interned at the Hungarian Academy of Science and the Technische Universität Wien in 2014, 2013 and 2015, respectively. Overall, Zsófia Koma has a strong background in research and has gained expertise in various institutions.

Zsófia Koma completed their education in Environmental Science with a PhD from Eötvös Loránd University, from the years 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned their MSc in Geophysics, specializing in Space Science and Remote Sensing, from the same university, from 2013 to 2015. Zsófia began their academic journey by acquiring a BSc in Earth Science from Eötvös Loránd University, from 2009 to 2013.
