Prateek Goel

Prateek Goel, PhD, is a lead data scientist at Nielsen since July 2024, with extensive experience in data science roles across various organizations. Prior to Nielsen, Prateek served as Associate Principal of Data Science at Definitive Healthcare and held senior and regular data scientist positions at Xtage and BEAT81, respectively. Prateek's background includes research-focused roles as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at both Aix-Marseille University and the University of Florida, and as a Research Software Engineer at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Additionally, Prateek facilitated workshops for graduate teaching assistants at the University of Waterloo. Academically, Prateek earned a PhD in Theoretical Chemical Physics and a Master's in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Waterloo, following a Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
