Ian Saltwick

Ian Saltwick is a Senior Controls Validation Engineer at Nikola Motor Company, specializing in Hardware In the Loop (HiL) software validation for the Nikola Tre Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV). Previous experience includes serving as a System HiL Test Engineer at Ford Motor Company, where Ian was integral to testing vehicle electrical systems and features. Earlier roles involved innovative projects at Arizona State University, including designing a colored LED bike wheel and developing a controller for car cruise control using MATLAB/Simulink. Ian's education culminated in a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, where recognition as a top-performing student was achieved. Additional experience includes software debugging at ADTRAN and participation in a research initiative focused on deformable antennas.
