Paul Savage has been working in the finance industry since 1989. Paul began their career as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young, before moving to UBS Investment Bank in 1994, where they were Deputy European Head of Market Risk. In 2000, they became Head of Valuation Group in Product Control at Credit Suisse. Paul then moved to Deutsche Bank in 2001, where they were Head of Model Change Management in Market Risk Engineering. In 2004, they became MD and Global Head of Portfolio Methods & Quantitative Analysis at Standard Bank's Treasury & Capital Management. In 2013, they were Director of RiskMan Consulting Limited, and they are currently Director of Nimbla, a role they have held since 2017.
Paul Savage completed an MSc in Mathematical Trading & Finance from Cass Business School in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained an MA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge in 1988.
