Kristie Eshelman Dombroski has a diverse work experience starting from their role as an Intern at the American Council of Trustees and Alumni in 2012. Following that, they worked as an Associate Editor at the Institute for Faith, Work & Economics, where they handled editorial and self-publishing processes for books and managed research projects. In 2012, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at Universidad Pablo de Olavide, where they likely gained experience in Spanish language and culture, although they did not obtain a specific degree from this institution.
