Raja Banda

Raja Banda has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Raja started their career in 1989 as an Assistant Executive Engineer for the Government of Andhra Pradesh. In 1998, they transitioned into the IT industry, where they held positions such as Project Lead, Technical Project Manager, and Software Engineering Process Group/Quality Manager at CNO Financial Group. In 2003, they became a Senior Program Manager, and later an Assistant Vice President of Projects until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, Raja served as the Managing Director and Head of IT Delivery for CNO Financial Group. In 2015, they joined Cognizant Technology Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. as the Director of Projects until 2016 when they became an Independent IT Industry Consultant. Most recently, starting in 2018, they have been working at Nisum as the Associate Director and then promoted to Director of Projects/IT Delivery & Global Hiring.

Raja Banda has a diverse education history. Raja completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University College of Engineering, Osmania University from 1982 to 1986.

Raja then pursued a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) from the same institution, the University College of Engineering, Osmania University. This degree was obtained from 1986 to 1988.

Later on, they decided to further enhance their academic qualifications by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing/Marketing Management, General. Raja attended the Institute Of Public Enterprise from 2000 to 2003 to complete this degree.

In addition to their formal education, Raja Banda also obtained several certifications, including "Creating a Culture That Inspires Your Employees" from LinkedIn in October 2022, "Implementing Your IT Strategy" from LinkedIn in September 2020, "Learning Personal Branding" from LinkedIn in September 2020, "Digital Transformation" from LinkedIn in August 2020, "Certified Process Professional (CPP)" from BP Group in July 2014, and "Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)" from the Project Management Institute in August 2003.
