Leena Särkkä

Leena Särkkä has a long and diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Leena currently holds the position of Global Head of Staffing at Nordcloud, an IBM Company since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Delivery Lead, Finland at Nordcloud from November 2020 to April 2022 and as a Delivery Executive from May 2020 to October 2020.

From 2016 to 2020, Leena worked at Tamro Finland as an IT Operations Manager. Leena was responsible for managing IT operations within the company during this time.

Before joining Tamro Finland, Leena had a significant tenure at Capgemini. Leena held various roles including Operations Manager/EUS Practice, Head of Infrastructure Services Delivery, Account Manager, Line management for Distributed Desktop Services, and Team manager, Service Delivery Manager, and Project Manager from 2006 to 2016.

Furthermore, Leena also gained experience working at Endero Oyj as a Project Manager, sales support, at ABASE in Consulting, Marketing, and Sales, at IFS as a Technical Consultant, at Oracle Finland Oy as a Delivery Manager, Team Leader, Instructor, and Consultant, at Coca Cola Juomat Oy as a Data Warehouse Specialist, and at Oracle Finland Oy again as a Consultant.

Leena'scareer began at Valio Data Oy (Systecon Oy) where they worked as a Designer and Team Leader.

Leena Särkkä has a diverse education history. Leena completed their MBA from Henley Business School between 2002 and 2008. Prior to that, in 1999 and 2000, they attended Markkinointi-instituutti to pursue a Team Leader Program. Leena also briefly studied Information Technology at the University of Helsinki in 1994 and attained a Datanomi degree in Information Technology from ATK-instituutti between 1986 and 1988. Leena previously attended Tornion liiketalouden ja tietotekniikan instituutti but the degree and field of study information are not provided. In terms of high school education, they completed their matriculation from Kemin Lukio in 1980 and participated in an exchange program as a high school student at Kearsarge Regional High School during 1982-1983. Additionally, they have obtained certifications, including Migration Ambassador Foundations (Business) and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, both awarded by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2022.
