Ville-Veikko Helppi has extensive work experience in technology companies, with a focus on product management and marketing. Ville-Veikko started their career in 1999 as a trainee at Buscom Oy. Helppi then worked as a software designer at Yomi Plc (Acta Systems Oy) from 2000 to 2001. Ville-Veikko continued their career as a teaching assistant and researcher at the University of Oulu from 2001 to 2003. Helppi then joined Mentor Graphics, where they worked as a consult and software engineer from 2003 to 2005, and later as a product marketing manager from 2006 to 2010. Ville-Veikko then moved on to Rightware, where they held roles as a product marketing manager and director of marketing from 2010 to 2012. After that, Helppi worked at Bitbar as a technical product manager from 2013 to 2015, and later as the head of demand generation from 2015 to 2017. Ville-Veikko then joined ARM as a principal product manager from 2017 to 2020. Currently, they are the product manager at Nordic Semiconductor since November 2020, and has been promoted to the role of product director starting from June 2022.
Ville-Veikko Helppi completed their M.Sc. (Tech.) degree in Embedded Systems at the University of Oulu from 1997 to 2002. Ville-Veikko then pursued further education at the same university and obtained an M.Sc. (Econ. & Bus.Admin) degree in Marketing between 2000 and 2007.
