Keenan Hammel

Keenan Hammel currently serves as the Director of Manufacturing Engineering at Norman Filter Company since February 2019, following a brief tenure as Automation Manager at Pollmann North America. Prior experience includes significant roles at Microplastics, Inc., where Keenan transitioned from Production Engineer to Senior Manufacturing Engineer and ultimately to Manufacturing Engineering Manager, focusing on continuous improvement, waste reduction, and maximizing manufacturing capabilities. In addition to creating standardized training programs for manufacturing staff, Keenan's expertise encompasses programming vision systems and robots to enhance production efficiency. An Engineering Intern at Microplastics, Inc. earlier in the career, Keenan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
